Personal Data Processing Policy

This Policy applies to britishcattery.ru and enquiries addressed to Adamas Cattery. The controlling Russian version prevails where required by law.

1. Controller

2. Purposes and data

• enquiries and kitten selection: name, phone or email, message, preferences, selected cat or litter, language and source page;
• reservation, contract and handover: contact, identification, transaction, payment and veterinary records where necessary;
• site operation and security: IP address, request time, browser/device headers, error logs and essential cookies;
• analytics after opt-in: cookie identifiers, pages, referrer, interactions and device parameters processed through Yandex Metrica.

No special-category or biometric data is requested through the forms, and no decision with legal effect is made solely by automated means. A legal representative should submit requests for anyone under 18.

3. Legal grounds and processing

Data is processed under Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ, consent, steps requested before a contract, contract performance, legal obligations and proportionate security interests. Operations may include collection, recording, storage, correction, use, restricted transfer, blocking and deletion, manually or with automation.

4. Recipients and location

Necessary data may be accessed by contracted hosting and IT providers, communications services and a messenger chosen by the visitor; Yandex LLC receives analytics data only after consent. Data is not sold or made public. Russian citizens’ data collected online is initially recorded and stored in databases located in Russia. Any cross-border transfer is assessed and arranged under Article 12 of Law No. 152-FZ.

5. Retention

Enquiries are retained until the purpose is met or consent is withdrawn and may then be kept for up to three years to handle claims. Contract and accounting records follow statutory periods; technical logs are normally kept up to 12 months. Data is then erased, destroyed or anonymised unless the law requires retention.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, restriction or deletion, withdraw consent, object and complain to Roskomnadzor or a court. Send an identifiable request to adamas-aby@yandex.ru. Withdrawal does not invalidate prior processing and does not prevent processing based on another lawful ground.

7. Security and changes

Access controls, secure transport, backups, event logging and processor oversight are used according to risk. The current version is always available at /privacy.
